Ventura, CA – C.I. Partners Direct, Inc., (www.cipdirect.com).
Gail brings almost 30 years of fundraising experience at a range of healthcare organizations to her clients, including in-depth experience evolving direct-response program strategies.
She has led direct-response efforts at the top-ranked Texas Children’s Hospital, where she drove changes which resulted in a 10-year high in direct mail channel revenue, an improved donor profile, and increased channel integration. Gail also guided the hospital’s programs focused on high-end direct mail giving and stewardship, grateful patient education and outreach, and membership.
In the first year of implementation, her changes to direct mail stewardship at Texas Children’s resulted in a 15% increase in the new donor second gift rate.
Gail also has extensive experience in prospect research and management, and major gift proposals and collateral.
Her broad fundraising experience means she understands each client’s fundraising ecosystem and can advise them about increasing their impact on prospect feeds, collaborating with other teams to leverage direct-response—or just growing their annual outreach.
Gail has managed budgets of $2 million+ and served as a program leader in multiple comprehensive campaigns at organizations including Houston Methodist, the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston (UTHealth), Baylor College of Medicine (BCM), and the American Cancer Society.
When not being a self-described “development nerd,” Gail follows other nerd pursuits such as debating Star Wars motivations and dichotomies, re-watching Babylon Five, and reading fantasy and science fiction novels. She also paints, cooks, and overindulges her three cats. She and her husband reside in Houston, Texas.
